Everyone got a shocking night’s sleep except for Bernie. I fell asleep at 8.30pm and woke up at 2.45am and I could hear Cam ‘scratching around’ next door. At 4am I gave up any hope of getting more sleep. We eventually all met up for breakfast and discussed how much sleep we didn’t get – except for Bernie. Later that morning we got the express train into KL which took half an hour and had a look around. We were told that KL is a shopping Mecca but we were very disappointed by what was on offer and the prices. Malaysia appears more developed than it’s neighbour Indonesia and so are the prices. After a look around we made our way to the famous Petronas Towers for a look from the top. We were disappointed to find out that we couldn’t as only 800 tickets a day are available and current booking would mean we would only be able to go on Tuesday. Given Tuesday was sim again we had to settle for photos of the towers – from the bottom. We then headed off to the markets and concluded it was like most markets in the world – full of cr%#!
