Lynne and Mick (22nd Feb 2017)
Been to Greytown on North Island but haven't been to Greymouth yet. It's on our route from Twizel to Christchurch so we shall make a point of stopping there and thinking of you and Riick all those years ago. We are leaving NZ early on 4th March heading towards Vegas and actually staying in one place for a week . Able to unpack, sheer luxury!
Kim hartnett (21st Feb 2017)
Did you visit Greymouth - if so you will know why we decided to get married there as not much more to do or talk about!! A great memory for us even though it was cold and wet.

Hi Lynne & Mick, back from the west, had a busy time working but I did drive Rick to a few wineries on the Monday so thought it best to get him back to work. Good to see you are having a great time in NZ, sorry I could not talk when you called. I think NZ is a small England with plenty of green rolling hills, I might say better beaches, cooler than Aussie but warmer than England but we all have one thing in common that we drive on the same side of the road which is helpful. What date do you leave NZ, let me know and I will give you a call on your NZ phone before you leave. Stay safe and keep enjoying love Kim & Rick

New Zealand is fabulous. In hindsight we would have added a couple of weeks to our stay. It's like a comfy pair of slippers, so much like home but with better weather and stunning scenery. Everyone is so friendly and we have some Lord of the Rings scenery to see in the next week. How good can it get?
Isabel and Peter (18th Feb 2017)
What an interesting and beautiful country New Zealand is! We are all so jealous of your visit to Hobbiton- my adultlings know the dialogue of the 3 films nearly by heart! Are you there for much longer - and where to next? Not sure if you've had my last emails, my computer has had a bit of a breakdown!!

Lucky downunder
Luck makes itself, you seem to enjoying an extended purple patch of weather and sights, it is amazing around the bay of islands @ Russell & Pahia, the schoolkids have there annual swim meet on the jetty at Russell and swim between the jetty and a pontoon. Aren't the dolphins great to watch and so fast, happy days Lynne & Mick
Cheers Rob & Sue

Great place to visit, Port Fairy, now get back on that Great Ocean Road and enjoy.
And take a pic of the Great White hanging around Lorne with some floss.
