Pobablty the most interesting town in Senegal is St Louis, a gem of colonial French architecture, in a sorry state now, but finally recognised as a World Heritage site. Hopefully it will be soon restored to its previous splendour. The last day proved the worst, with a 14 hour wait for a ferry at Barra.
