Hi All,

We're now in Sydney...time is flying by, and still having a wicked time. Since we last wrote, we've completed our camper trip in NZ - we walked to Franz Josef glacier's terminal and took some nice pics. Quite a bit of the area was out of bounds due to safety - that didn't stop most of the other tourists climbing these steep rock mountains. Nat and I were taking pics of the mouth of the glacier when we were bombarded by rock falls...!

Franz was quiet so we only stayed there one night, and headed to Greymouth (boring, apart from the Monteith's beer and cider brewery tour!). We went to see the pancake rocks and blowing holes near Punkatuia, basically limestone rocks and gorges carved out by the sea, and then we finished in Christchurch. We met up with Nicola Slater again and her mates, who were all in fancy dress for the All Blacks game, and we had a BBQ at their friends house before the match. The ABs won 20-10 against the Aussies, we had a great view behind the goal, and enjoyed the experience.

Unfortunately, we had a bad night in Christchurch. After dropping our campervan off, we stayed in a cheap hotel, and when we got into bed, my side had a massive wet patch in it (no, I didn't create that). It was minging, and the hotel was full because of the game. It was 11.30pm, so we got the matress flipped and got the room for free - not bad even though we both smelt of wee in the morning...

Just finished Melbourne - that was a nice 4 days exploring the city. It was nice for the first two, but then rained heavily for the next 2. We explored the city on a walking tour though its laneways and arcades, and visited the museum (including the Titanic exhibition with artifacts recovered from the ocean floor) and had some good food out. Best of all we were upgraded in both hotels we stayed at and got free bottles of bubbly! Nice one. We've also had our hair cut, Nat's had loads taken off and now has a skinhead!

Melbourne was good but we didn't get to drive the Great Ocean Rd as we wanted beacuse of the poor weather, and we're now in Sydney. Arrived yesterday and went to Darling Harbour to look around, and today we're heading to Manly and we're also planning to go to Taronga Zoo. Tomorrow we plan to go to Bondi, and have a surfing lesson each, and we're also planning to climb the Sydney harbour bridge, go to the opera at the opera house (Marriage of Figaro - whoever that is!) and have a heavy drinking night tomorrow and check out its clubs!

Nat's trying to upload some more pics but the computer is being dodgy - hopefully we'll get her new Skunk Anansie haircut on there for you all to see!!
