Day Twenty-eight

I think the last time Martin wrote was in Auckland, so here's the latest. Been to Auckland Zoo which was great, apart from being shat on by a bird and pissed on by a monkey!

Pilot Bywater then took us up to Northland and we spent some time in a lovely little town called Russell, as you can see from the photo we did some serious big game fishing! I caught the biggest snapper of the day which really pleased Martin! (he's not competitve)

Went caving yesterday in Waitomo and saw lots of lovely glow-worms and big eels! The abseil into the cave was great, of course bywater had to go the fastest.

Today we've been to see the geothermal Geysers in Rotorua, very smelly but amazing to see. Had a dip in the thermal resort, along with five thousand Japs.

Off to Taupo tomorrow, looking at the skydiving- don't worry mum. x
