We are still at Sara Bay Marina near Sarasota. We decided to stay at this marina. The location is pretty convenient for the bus and for shopping. We've been riding our bicycles, although it's not a bike friendly area. We have to ride on the sidewalks along a very busy 4 lane road. I'm still a little wobbly on the bike, so when there is a lot of traffic, I get off the bike and walk. It's about a mile and a half to the Publix. We can also take the bus.

The weather, until today, has been wonderful. It's been in the mid to upper 70s with sunshine and a light breeze. Today it's overcast wtih some rain sprinkles, but still in the 70s. We're not complaining!  We've enjoyed the dolphins that come into the creek and also saw a manatee. There are many birds near the mangrove islands across the creek.

We've been doing one boat project per day, which is our goal. One major project will be beefing up our  battery  bank. We'll probably get a larger inverter/charger and then maybe a couple more house batteries. We want to be able to anchor out for more than a couple of days without having to run the generator or motors to charge the batteries.

I'll be heading back to Pensacola this weekend for my job. I'll be there for a couple of weeks and then head back to Sarasota. We haven't decided on the next destination yet. Stay tuned!
