So the day has started and instead of ringing all the Michigan colleges about keynote speaking engagements for Keith and appointments for Oliver to view a university (not sure he has ever been to one), I am sitting looking out of my office window at the snow that has all gone and its only 25 January!  Little sad that its so warm, we are skiing this weekend with 3 other families (very exciting - although for there are 7 teenage boys and Felicity!! - not so sure about that).

Keith came back from his longest cruise - 2 weeks away - who booked that... he needs a new manager!  In fact I have booked the same one in Feb and March... ok so I need to work on my planning, 2 weeks away from the family is too long for all of us.  But I'm working on a nice tour in the 'bay area' - thats San Francisco to the rest of us.  That will be in April and we can all go.  then there are school 'all nigh party's' for the seniors leaving High School, casino gigs, college gigs.... I'm getting there I'm getting there - just remember I'm better with gift boxes and babys and business!

Watched the State of the Union last night - President Obama addressing the nation - I thought it was rather good and wondered how I could live in a country for 3 years and not totally understand what their leader is talking about.... I tried to compare it to the 'Opening of Parliament' when I 'tweeted' (sarahharfield1 - yes I tweet) and I made a little reference on Face book - oh look at us and our social media.!

Off to Vegas for some time with my man next week - ooooh no its a business trip that's right - he is doing 4 nights in Gold Coast Casino and I'm networking, although I hear Elton John is in town and haven't seen him since he played a concert at Charlton!!

Happy New Year to all - I'm sending out a few Christmas cards this week - I know I'm late but some of the grannies, aunts and god parents wont notice!!
