Casa de San Pedro is one of the most romantic getaways famous for its wonderful high quality service

Casa de San Pedro is located in Hereford, the area known for the variety of its wildlife and outdoor activities. Numerous colourful butterflies, spectacular landscapes and bird singing will make your vacation here truly relaxing and unforgettable.

This modern territorial hacienda is designed to evoke the traditional architecture of Spain and Mexico. Mexican hardwood furnishings with hand carved embellishments add an elegant touch to the setting and make this place look unique and exquisite. 10 guest rooms offered here reflect the general Mexican style of the inn and are pleasant hideaways with great views of the surrounding fountains, flowers and birds.

Each room features king size or double beds, exquisite linens in tasteful and relaxing colors, air conditioning, a fireplace, wireless Internet access and a private bathroom featuring hand-painted Mexican tiles in the shower, countertops and hand-painted Mexican sinks. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryers are provided. All rooms are calming and refreshing ensuring an inviting respite after a busy day of bird watching or hiking.

Outside the rooms on the courtyard walkway the guests will find tables and chairs which they can use for relaxing and savoring the afternoon light with a glass of wine or a homemade pie which is served every day as a special treat in addition to gourmet breakfasts. The atmosphere of this bed and breakfast is indeed friendly and makes you feel completely like home.

Every morning the guests are served delicious gourmet breakfast in a spacious dining room. It includes a great variety of home made dishes like biscuits, muffins, breakfast meats prepared with a southwestern flair, and many others. Coffee and teas are available throughout the day as well as home baked pies and cookies or brownies.

And if you want to have fun and learn how to make the culinary masterpieces with your own hands, you can join the cooking classes featuring exciting themed dinner menus and generally held on the 4th Saturday of the month. You will cook up healthy, quick and easy meals with the help of hints and suggestions of the guest chef Gratien Torrione who will provide you with a fun and creative cooking experience. Chef Gratien trained to become a chef in Greece, and his preparations are notably French, but also reflect a fusion of continental cuisine adapted for American ingredients and tastes.

The location of the inn is rather beneficial. The area is famous for its wildlife and great landscapes. Here you can find deers, foxes, coyotes, javelina, bobcats, mexican jaguars plus all the usual suspects of rodents and reptile in the yard regularly. 355 species of birds and hundreds of beautiful butterflies either reside here or migrate through this area year round. The guests have a lot of space to do things together or by themselves. They can visit the Butterfly Garden, hike down at the river, organize a barbeque party or go to the Palominas Observatory and enjoy the many-many stars that pepper the night sky of Arizona.

One more peculiarity of the inn is seven cycle labyrinth with benches in the front gardens. The labyrinth is a meditative journey which centers your thoughts and relaxes you. It is sited amid the scenic mountain ranges and the river course that makes the inn's valley so spectacular. Each turn of the labyrinth provides you with incredible views of these stunning mountains and the magic setting which the Casa has claimed as its own.
