Am I missing something... 5am is the time to see your teen at their best...O went to help set up the blood drive at school.... yes at school - great idea in this day and age, take the blood from the teens. Do we do that in the UK - the boys would be queuing up at St Dunstans College to give blood... or am I missing something and the UK schools do that already..... the differences between these 2 first world countries still leaves me amazed, excited and sometimes scratching my head how one country 'gets it' and another doesn't!Today also saw Mr Oliver Jack Harfield working on a Presidential Campaign - yes Mr Obama came to the Big D (that's Detroit for slower members of my family) and Oli and some of his other very lucky class mates were able to go along, deal with press, registration etc and listen to the President of the United States of America speak..... so a busy day for the teen boy - sadly due to him being born in the UK and a slight mad cow issue, he cant give blood and he is not a US citizen so he cant vote but...hey ho! I still think all teens should be encouraged to give blood - do it for others!!
