Well Beau got sick and could not walk so we were 15km from Georgetown when he got sick so we turned around and headed for Ravenshoe which was the closest Vet and 270km away from where we were.

It turned out Beau has an allergy to some of the grasses and he still may lose the pads of his foot, but on the good side the vet said that they will grow back he will just have a very tender foot for a while.

Vet's cost with medication and creams $116.05 he has also given us a cream for his good feet to prevent it happening with them.

The additional cost of the dash 2 large star burst chips in the window and 3 small ones, oh well it could have been worst we will stay at the other free stop just outside Ravenshoe called Archer Creek Rest Area, nice spot. Cost nothing it's free, you just have to put up with the rooster strutting around and crowing early in the morning, don't know where he came from no farms that we could see.
