Last Day in London

After packing and checking out of our room we headed for the tube to Kew Gardens, the national Botanical Gardens.  The area is huge and it included a tree top walk.  There where designated gardens like the rose and bamboo but the best at the moment are the azaleas and rhodedendrons which are in full bloom.  There is a huge glass house with palms and tropical plants and on the ground level are many freshwater and seawater plants.  There is another huge glass house with different sections that go from arid to tropical.  The waterlily house was amazing with a lily pad big enough to use as a blanket.  You really needed to spend a whole day there.  Then it was off to pick up luggage and head to the airport for our trip to Hong Kong.  It is sad to be leaving but great to be on our way home to the kids and Hudson.
