Hollywood tour

We returned to downtown LA again today this time to the neighborhood of Hollywood to begin our 5 1/2 hour bus tour. As an amateur photographer, I’ve often framed pictures to crop or hide undesirable elements; well that’s what TV does with all the Hollywood places you see on the Television. That said it was still a very good tour, it was interesting to actually see all the places that the celebrities are seen being...well... celebrities.

I’m aware that a lot of what I’ve said about California has been negative. We are enjoying our travels here it’s just different than our preconceived notions. One of the things that is better than I’ve heard about is the freeway system in LA. There are 28 interconnected freeways in the LA metro area; most that we’ve seen are 6 to 8 lanes wide. There are a lot of vehicles on them all the time, but the traffic is always moving. Even with some areas having construction the traffic moved well, there I’ve said something good about California.
