Okey Dokey,

Malaysia...Jungle was pretty cool, went on a long boat for 3-4hours to head into the jungle which was pretty exciting. Checked into our hut, probably the worst bathroom we have come across! Shared with two girls Meme and Bridge, who turned out to almost be as cool as us ;p You know we love you really you losers!

Went night trekking, day trekking did a very high up canopy walk, small wooden bridge in the top of the trees, a bit Indianna Jones. We visited a local tribe, lack of clothing and they all...and i mean ALL smoke! They showed us how to make a fire with sticks, build a blow dart and then shoot it. Then we drank water from some stick...fun stuff.

We then got an all day bus then boat with the new recruits (Meme & Bridge) to the Kecil Islands. Craziest boat trip ever to have been allowed! They said we had to wear life jackets as a rule, I was worried about sea sickness, but OHHHH NOOO no time to puke amongst being thrown around in the little boat in gigantic waves....A few Effin' and Blindin's from Charlotte who was slightly hysterical doing the 'this is the kind of fun that kills you' laugh. Nobody arrived with any inch of dryness!!!

The Kecil islands were beautiful and really relaxing, Meme & Bridge tought us a few drinking games and we went to a beach party and got more people involved, messy!

We then said our goodbyes to the ladies and heading our seperate ways :(

We got a bus to the Thai Border, Walked the Border, Local train (crazy) from the border to Hat Yai (Thailand) about 4 hours then we got on our 1st night train to Bangkok! Very 'Some like it Hot', very fun and suprisingly comfy! On arrival we organised our trip to Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand, for more Jungle shennanigans!

Got to Chiang Mai, really lovely. Cheap markets....Opps! And Then set off to do our jungle trek with some local lunatics called Rambo & Birdie?!?!?!!? More of a woodland wonder but still quite nice, went in a water falls, got whisked away which was hilarious! We arrived at a local village where they sold us some 'handmade-but bought from town really' goodies. They cooked us dinner and we sat around a fire singing songs to Birdies guitar and drinking Tiger beer. Bloody Hippys!!! Slept on Bamboo mats in a hut...Ouch!

Woke up in the morning feeling not to sharp, tried to eat but uh ohhh....Charlottes Saga begins...The most unbelievavle stomach pains I have ever had...Crying and bent double with a fever means we all have to abandon the trek to take a 2hour back of a pick-up ride to hosptial! :o( Sorry Girls!!! Lay in hospital all day and given various tablets and stared at by Thais. The following day the girls went back to do the elephant riding and bamboo rafting...See Alana's facebook for photos.

Got another Night Train back to Bangkok! Meet Polly (Friend from home). Alana and Polly head to Koh Tao. Robyn & Charles stay in Bangkok awaiting John's (Charlotte's boyfriend) arrival :)

We spent most our days catching up on sleep as little miss sunrise wasn't aroung ;p sending some lovely smelling clothes home for parents, emailing and eating western food!!!! Really getting into the spirit of things one might say!

John arrives!!!! :o) We go for dinner and drinkies then head to Koh San Road with John and some random German dude from our hotel. Completely forgetting it was the Thai new year Songkran, the water festival!!! As we take a nice stroll through the market .....Charlotte gets shot in the face with a water pistol!!!!! All hell breaks lose as we all purchase water pistols and GI Janes and Johns our way up Koh San Road shooting everyone in sight! Lots and lots of fun!!! Bit soggy though!

We get a flight to Koh Pa Ngan to meet Polly and Alana. Polly has cleverly developed swell face and rouge skin! But other than that they have been having a merry old time sampling (for our benefit of course ;p) Thai buckets...A lethal big old bucket of whisky or Vodka and a dash of coke!  

Sundbathe and sleep some more! Then we head to the Half Moon Party! Now this was odd! We get a taxi into the jungle and there is a massive UV glowing site with lots & lots and more drinking and dancing! We get into the spirit of things and get UV tattoos (mothers...don't worry they are temporary!) Very late night after we get a little huffety with the taxi driver thinking he has taken us to nowhere when the truth is we all all to drunk to even know our own names! Watch the SUnrise over the beach...beautiful!!!!

We head to Koh Samui via boat. I hate boats now... grandma i'm flying with you at christmas!!!! Settle in to lovely huts on the beach (aircon thanks to John ;op) We chill out for a few days. John and I get Jet Ski's (dangerous idea for those two!)

The following day Polly and Alana head on to Koh Phi Phi on an all day bus journey! Whilst John, Charlotte and Robyn sleep more then hire Mopeds! (Again...bad idea for Robyn!) We cruise around all afternoon checking out the island, write our names on bricks which will be used to build a temple, go see a giant golden buddha & John gets lost trying to find his way back to the accomm...Charlotte to the rescue! haha ;op

We then fly again over to Koh Phi Phi to meet Alana and Polly. Pretty chilled out island but still a bit ruined from the Tsunami so all is in the midst of being fixed up unfortunately. And the icing on the cake...come on guys surely you can guess by now....Charlotte get incredibly sick!!! Nice one Tranckle! Spends most of the night sounding like a soundclip from The Exorcist! John wakes up to find his insulin frozen and therefore completely useless and then has to go on an all day mission (alone as charlotte is still throwing up) to the mainland for a hospital for more supplies! Dreadful day basically!

The girls go on a snorkelling trip around the islands and visit Maya Bay from the flim 'The Beach'. See Alana's facebbok for photos!

We chill out there for a few days as all I can manage to do is crawl from my bed to the bathroom and back! :( (sympathy welcome!!!) ;p

Polly has to leave :( and ventures back to Bangkok and goes on a bender with some people she meets on the flight...nice work Polly ;) Then back to sunny England..Bye bye Pollatron!

Robyn and Alana head to Koh Lanta and John treats me to a nice hotel room to recover. The following day an emaciated Charlotte gets another treat from John, our own private boat trip to Maya Bay (as we missed the trip with the girlies) and onward private boat trip to Koh Lanta to meet the girls...What a gent!

Koh Lanta is beautiful but dead as the islands are closing down for monsoon season! We sit through some rain then head back on the all day bus/boat trip back to Koh Pa Ngan. Only to find some more rain! Then...guess what guys...John gets really sick! Nice one Thailand!!!! Grrrrrrrr :(

We bump into a friend Aida we met in New Zealand. We spend a few days chilling out and nursing John! Robyns handbag gets stolen....Nice one Thailand! Lost camera and mobile! :( Poor Robz is on her 4th camera of the trip now!

We head back to Bangkok for one more night (opps we over stayed our 30day visa!) and the say a tearful goodbye to John as he flys home :( :( :( and we get a 12hr bus to Laos!

So...wrap it up...We are in Laos, its pretty lovely here, bloody cheap, friendly people, not as skanky and poor as thailand! Its Robyns birthday tomorrow so we are going to float down the river on inflatable rubber rings and drink lots! Odd!
