Cooking For Two: How To Avoid Waste

There were bodybuilders who died at a young age. Some of them even died right after performing in a bodybuilding competition. What causes their death is debatable but there are things you have to know about bodybuilding other than strict exercise and training. What is your main goal when you start working out? Do you want to improve your health? Do you simply want to lose weight? Look more muscular? Are you purely muscle minded?Start large chunks of meat such as a roast or slow cooker whole chicken and vegetables on high for about an hour when-ever possible. This gets the food up to a safe cooking temperature quickly. An extra large roast should be cut into half, to help get the temperature up quickly.Tenderness of the meat is directly related to the cooking time. A longer cooking time at low will yield a more tender roast, as long as it is cooked beyond done to the falling apart stage. The difference between a tough piece of meat and a tender one is about 1 hour. When you check your meat for doneness, if it isn't tender, let it cook for another hour and check again.Buy meats from the deli counter at the grocery store. Fresh turkey breast, ham, chicken breast, and salamis are options. Put the sliced deli meats in the freezer. The morning of the picnic, take them out so they can slowly thaw and stay cold until they are ready to be consumed.Good vegetables to add include carrots, celery and onion. These 3 make a good basic stock, with any meat you choose. The peelings, ends and trimmings of other veg can also go in (for instance, pea pods, carrot panlasang pinoy whole chicken recipe, the outer leaves of cauliflower, the ends of string or runner beans and broccoli stems.) The more you add, the more flavour and goodness you get.
