Real Texas Pit Barbecue Flavor - Slow Smoked Meat Goodness

That question would be easy to answer even if all you've ever done is make chicken stew with your slow cooker. It's just so easy and the food tastes better when cooked slowly and evenly in a crock pot. Also, from 4-7 at Rockfish you can also get all appetizers half off. Think of it like an awesome little "Happy Hour." While all the food at Rockfish is delicious, this week I recommend an appetizer that isn't on the menu anymore (but they'll make it if you ask!). Try the Brisket Nachos with your Lagunitas. The strong Belgian ale pairs really well with the smoky flavor of the brisket. The crispy tortilla chips are topped with slow cooked you tube beef brisket in crock pot, ancho cream sauce, cheese, black beans, fresh jalapeno, and cilantro! And during the half price appetizer time, they're only $4.95! And if you don't like brisket, or don't eat red meat, Rockfish also offers some delicious other appetizers like Volcano Shrimp and Spinach Dip.Place chicken legs in crock pot. Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour over chicken. Cover crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.Get ready to rock and roll. Prepare the hot stone heater, slow cooking brisket or skillet. Then clean the rocks and stack them in whichever warmer you use. Next, fill up the warmer until the rocks are completely under water. Lastly, position your hot stone kit and accessories on a solid surface, nearby an electrical outlet.Expand your shopping sphere: Don't just go back to your normal stores. Look at markets, strip shopping centres and garage sales to see if you can get any of your items at a cheaper price. The simple corned beef beef brisket history arose from humble beginnings. There are numerous variations of this basic recipe using different meats and vegetables. Such boiled dinners are easy to make and turn good cheap food into a hearty meal. When I first tasted this wine without any food, I found it powerful and multi-layered with good length. My initial meal consisted of slow cooking beef ribs with potatoes. I tasted earth and mushrooms in the wine. A little wine went a long way. There was some chocolate, dark cherries and tobacco. This Pinot Noir was really present. I added a fair amount of Louisiana red pepper sauce and the chocolate taste was intensified. The side dish was an unspicy Turkish salad based on sweet pimentos, tomato paste, and hot peppers. The wine was still present and quite long.My final meal was a broiled Atlantic salmon steak which was marinated in soy sauce and sliced garlic. This Pinot Noir was quite powerful, well-balanced, round, and long. It tasted of dark fruit and earth. The potato patties didn't change the flavors or the length. Finally a negative note, with a zesty guacamole, this Pinot Noir became more uni-dimensional.This year the Bash also welcomes a variety of local & regional artists to the Maryland State BBQ Bash. Please visit The Bash Gallery on Thomas Street. If you come earlier on Saturday before 12 noon you can participate in the Bel Air Farmers Market that is celebrating 35 years!
