Les and Val's travels
16th May 2012
Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons

Another marvellous day sightseeing and some wonderful sights to see. First stop was Old Faithful, predicted time for eruption was 1034 and it was bang on time, really impressive. We stopped off at two other geyser basins to see the mud pots, bacteria mats and geysers, and Kepler Falls before travelling on to the Grand Tetons. The mountain range and lakes make for lovely scenery and there were several stops for photos before we got to Jackson Hole. This evening was a wagon ride at the Bar T ranch followed by a cook out and entertainment. Interestingly it is all run by the Mormons so it was a "dry" evening which wasn't altogether welcomed by some!
