TRAVELS AROUND THE WORLD
17th Jul 2012 Returning to Home sweet home after 12 lovely months travelling. At last, I can now finish off this travel blog after experiencing such a lot of hassle as soon as we arrived back in the Uk what with our phone being cut off and hence having no Internet, but now we are back on line to all you lovely blog readers. Our journey home was really eventful, no problems with any connections and having lovely seats for the journey, only to be found sharing this journey with the star of the sixties 'Lulu' we had a good chat about different things, and asking her what she was doing now, which she said she had just finished a very tiring photo shoot in The Maldives, I don't think I would have found posing for photos tiring, but there again I am no 'Star' just an ordinary travelling hillbilly, nevertheless she was very happy to have me to talk to and did not mind being photographed with me, so all in all this made the journey home even better. We arrived in Heathrow on time, and just as we had expected our two very dear friends Sandra and Paul were there with placards of 'welcome home the fockers' which was lovely to see, and to see their two smiling faces there to welcome us home, remember they were the ones who also took us up on the very first day to Heathrow. We arrived back home in no time, chatting all the way back, and not even realising the time, we were in no time walking back through our own front door, to the lovely greeting of Jamie and Emma holding two hot cups of tea for us waiting for our return, this was a lovely surprise, and really finished off our lovely year away, seeing family and friends, after a lovely six weeks with Chris, Katie and Freddie and of course Sue Katie's mum who made sure we were well fed before our return home bless her. Thanks to everyone who have read this blog, and there is always a big thank you to all our lovely family and friends who have given us so much support when times have been difficult, but we have managed to still enjoy everything we set out to achieve .
