Euro tandem 2012
19th Jul 2012 (Day 49) Sydney to home After a relaxed morning, we caught a 1pm bus home, arriving late afternoon. What a surprise that it’s dark by 5.30, and the thermometer plummets to minus 5 degrees overnight! So we have reached the end of our 2012 Europe trip. There were some low points of course, especially having to stop cycling after the ankle injury. Anne is on the mend though and the ankle splint comes off in 5 days. There were many high points. It was wonderful to catch up with some friends and we loved the cycling. This was a great “trial run” with the new bike and we have every intention of embarking on more tandem adventures.
