Euro tandem 2012
5th Jun 2012  The tightrope walker from Esslingen is following us
There must be a story behind this chap which we are yet to discover. There's a hint in the city walk's brochure as follows: "... Built from stones brought in from the former Klinginberg Castle in 1392, it was initially called "Square Tower"... Renamed in early 19 th century as the Götz Tower, as the protagonist of the same name dies right in front of a tower in Goethe's 'Götz von Berlichingen'..... The famous knight was in captivity 1519 - 1522... And spent one night in captivity in a tower connected to the Götz Tower.". And sooooo??
