Hi everyone!

We are going to stay in Brisbane for the next three months so Rob has got a job in 'The Libertine' and I have got a job in 'The Peasant' really lucky they are both right over the road and are next to eachother. We have been doing a few evenings a week and after work they always give you a drink and seem really nice. Rob is getting good waitering and says it's really posh but they all seem quite relaxed, his boss is Irish and she seems pretty cool.

It is ther winter but the weather is still baking when the sun is out so on the days where we have had nothing to do we have all sunbathed by our pool! We have taken a few walks into town alhough we are trying to avoid that now cos always spending money! Did have the best mcflurry ever!!! It was caramel cookie....!

I have been waiting around most days to start work and felt like it was a bit of a waste of time all day until 6 not doing much so asked if I could do some cleaning aroundthe hostel for a free bed, she offered me full time 5 days a week cleaning which I can do with the peasant and that gives me a wage too so start that on Sunday at 830am...cleaning the fridges hahah.

In our room there are two Italians who said they will teach us to cook (they are chefs) if we teach them english! They are really nice but they seem to always have different girlfriends... Was so funny because after Lauren finished her 5 days at the exhibition she bought home a load of freebies, one of which was a blow up doll (just for a laugh) and we blew it up and dressed it up and put it in Armando's bed! hahah - so when he came in at midnight from work he had a shock!

Rob has been on a few more interviews to see if he can get a bit more work to fill the days! He has updated his CV to the 'Aussie way' which he says is completely upside down to home! He may be working a few days a week doing data entry which will be good!

Between the 4 of us we are getting dinner every night and cooking it in turn, my job the other day was to peel the potatoes which I realised I had never done before.... lol! We made mash and sausages, Nick is really good at cooking and has done some Spag Bol, Curry, fahita;s tacos etc... we are certainly not going hungry....!

Not much else to report, still playing poker every wed with Ryan at his hostel next door and when we get some money we will do some nice things around town like the koala sanctuary and there is a festival called EKKA which starts soon so we may venture down there too! Brisbane is still wicked we really like it :)
