I slept for 12 hours straight
Hey Meg,

Good to see the pictures up from Peru! After 32 hours on airplains and in airports, I found my bed most satisfying. Uninterupted sleep at sea level is a beautiful thing. I did run into Andrew for all of 5 minutets at baggage claim. He recognized me first, but I instantly knew when he approached me by the cho bag he was carrying. It sounds like he had a good trip and is looking forward to catching up. I am importing the photos from the DVD now (it works YAY! Love, H

I'm glad ya'll are safely finished with the bike ride! I was a little worried about that part. I'm finished with work, and ready to head down tomorrow! I'll see you in Cuzco on Saturday morning.

New nickname: The Knievel Twins
I'm going to guess that you won't be signing up for the Tour de Georgia this summer. I hope ya'll still have your voices because I would have screamed my head off the whole way down. Wooooooohoooooo!!! I AM jealous!

My Heart Stopped!!
So, hey, they don't let all the siblings in one family go into the same military unit at once . . . there should be a similar law about having all of your children (that would be you guys) on the same Road of Death at once. As we (our traveling group) all get ready to travel together in the Canadian Rockies, I have to say that it is one thing to be on the Precipice Walk on foot . . on a bicycle is a totally different level!! I am so happy you are on terra firma. Love, Mom

Your Trip
After a very long absence, I'm back! It sounds like you guys are having a great time so far on your trip in the lap of luxury! I do agree that horseback riding can be fun but definitely has its hazards such as major chaffing that will have you really walking like a cowboy afterwards (I found out in Costa Rica). I'm espcially looking forward to hearing about the Peru portion of your trip - you guys will love Cusco and the ruins. Hannah - it seems like you may have enough time to get acclimitized to the altitude (I'm not sure how high it is in Bolivia and Argentina) which is good.. defintely take it easy though. Cusco has a alot of great restuarnts and some bars, and despite my best efforts I ended up with a pretty nasty case of what I thought is altitude sickness and was in bed for the first day after we went to Machu Picchu town. Make sure to do the extra hike up to Wynnapicchu when you get there. Keep us posted!

Your (jealous) cousin
