Lima and Cuzco (3400m altitude)

Hola,

We arrived at Lima this morning at 8am. We took the company Cruz Del Sur and the coach was the best one ever! The seats convert into beds and we had hostesses serving food and we even played bingo!
We took a bus straight from the bus terminal to the airport, the driver was an old Peruvian, really friendly, who talked politics and social condition for more than half an hour.
When we got to the airport, a group of girls jumped at us when we mentionned Cuzco and said the last plane of the day was leaving within the next 30mn! We got a bit scared since we didn`t want to spend the whole day in Lima after we had already travelled to the airport. I checked with the other Peruvian airlines, they confirmed there were no more seats on later flights. We finally accepted to go with that flight, but they said the check-in was then closed... Great. After almost begging them, one of the girls accepted to sell us the ticket, while the other one was heading to the check-in, without telling us... with all our luggage! we started running after her, and finally had to keep all our luggage with us... We then run from one side of the airport to the other, passing all the checks... finding the gate... ouf, the plane was still there! An hour later, we landed in Cuzco, what an amazing flight, crossing the Cordillera de los Andes! It`s incredibly beautiful, and the mountains are really high! We are to spend about a week here, going to the Machu Picchu, the Lake Titicaca to finally fly back to Quito (if we manage to find a good price).
Hope everyone is ok,
Thanks to those who left us messages on our message board. Still can`t upload the pixs...

Coucou a tous,
Bref, on a paye 4 dollars!
