Titicaca Lake, Altiplano (4200m high) Hola! What an easy life we have in Europe! Now we can be sure of it. We spent the week end on the Lake Titicaca (got on a boat at Puno, Peruvian side), with an indigenous family: no water, electricity or cooker! We visited 3 islands. The first one was a group of small floating islands, made of Joncs only (they call it Tutura), called the Uros Islands. The pixs are amasing. These people live with nothing, it is unbelievable! Then we went to Amantani Island, where we spent the night. We stayed with an indigenous family (the kids were so cool) and went back to basic life (we had soup and rice for diner). Not to mention the state of the Loo or the shower that we never found. We had our last shower 3 days ago!!! Can`t believe it still. The Indians organised a party for us and made us dance and wear their local clothes... (Sure you`ll like the pixs too) Today we visited Taquile Island, also on the Lake Titicaca and we walked a lot... the sights were worth the effort though. We were with a group of 25 people, from many countries (mainly France!) and made loads of friends. It felt good to share our experience. Tonight, we are back on a night bus, to Cusco. How`s life back in Europe? Please keep us in the loot, we don`t want to miss anything.
