Porciano Castle

So on Tuesday we went to this real medieval castle. IT was really neat. The first three floors are open to the public, but we got to see the rest because our director knows the lady that lives there and owns the castle. It was really neat, my favorite part was getting to go on the very top and seeing the amazing view. It was so pretty. It looked out over the Italian countryside, which is very hilly. It was gorgeous. Too bad my pictures just can`t capture it. Anyways, then we got to eat lunch in this huge room at this huge table. It was really good, we started out with some bread that had different kinds of spreads on there, and then we ate some lasagna which was not made with tomato sauce, and then we ate meat and veggies, then we had some cake with strawberries and whipped cream. I thought that the whipped cream was the best part. It was homeade and it was soo good. Anyways...then after that we went to the little town that was at the bottom of the hill from the castle and it was really cool. We went to this wool store that was really neat also. It was probably one of my favorite days since I have been here.
