Glebe We decided we would leave the hustle and bustle of central Sydney and travelled to a suberb called Glebe. The place is a sort of hippy/yuppy place with lots of markets, second hand stores and alternative medicine shops etc. We stayed in a hostel that was not really a hostel but more long term accomodation, it was ok. We all had to stay in separate rooms and slept on sofa beds. They were doubles though so lots of space. On our first night we happend across some people preparing for a party for one of their friend`s bithdays. We helped out a little, baloon inflating etc. and wangled an invite. We later got some wine and went and joined in the fun. The party was ok but we got to eat all their food which was really good. They had spent lots on it and put in real effort but invited us to eat as much as we wanted. Anybody who is familiar with Lee`s appitite nows this is a mistake... The place was nice and a welcome alternative to central Sydney.
