London and Leeds

The journey continues and we`ve made our way to the UK!

We finished up in Canada with a trip to Banff- which has amazing views of the Rockies all around. Then after some crazy flights over we arrived in the UK very tired, but have been having a great time.

We visited Greenwich and checked out `the line`. There is also a lovely park nearby and we could walk there from James and Adele`s place. They are in such a great spot- really close to the city too. The next day we went to the Tate Modern art gallery. So much great art and so many famous artists! Dali, Warhol, Magritte, Monet... and many more. Really cool!

The last couple of days we went to the English countryside and visited Paul and Jacinta in Leeds. We drove around nearby towns and walked on the city wall around York, had Yorkshire Cream Tea (aka Devonshire Tea)in Harrogate, visted the Bolton Abbey (with a beautiful rundown church, stepping stones over the river and gorgeous countryside) and ate lunch in a small town pub somewhere. All fantastic. Not only have we been blessed with good company but the weather is so warm and lovely too. Perfect for being holiday!

Coming home to London we came into Kings Cross station... so I made a quick trip over to Platform 9 & 3/4 and went through to the Hogwarts Express! So very, very cool. :)
