Gary+Jess:Its a Mini Adventure
 Hobbiton We stopped at Hobbiton on the way to Auckland, unfortunately all the Hobbits seem to have moved! We had a wander about all the famous bits, like the party tree and Bag End as you do. Jess even made an effort to not look completely disinterested as i bored her with Lord of the Rings trivia on the way round. Our guide had lots of interesting stories to tell us about the filming, such as the Oak tree above Bag End which was brought from another location in pieces and reassembled in the required location. "But what about the leaves?" I hear you cry...no problem. Simply buy a few thousand plastic oak leaves and pay three local student to stick them on for you! Easy! Got some lovely photo`s of Hobbit holes, including the compulsory shot out the door of Bag End before it was time to hit the road again and get to Auckland!
