Look out !!

When in Rome... Beautiful, ancient, stunning - Rome was great. Lots more pasta and pizza was consumed (we`re never going to be able to do enough cardio to get rid of all this!). The Hotel was lovely and the staff really nice. Saw the Vatican, Colleseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Bocca del Verite, the Sistine chapel, the Spanish steps, a good clothes shop with a great sale on! Miriam got very very drunk on the last night, and slagged off Justine and Emma for the terrible pool they were playing, but then couldn`t even hit the white, let alone any other balls with it, cos she was too pissed. Susie got attacked by a mad old lady, cos she was on her turf, maybe?! Not quite sure, but she gave Susie a nasty scratch. In fact saw quite a few mad people in Rome, and loads of beggars. But it didn`t spoil the lovely time we had. Everyone is `over` churches! Mim and Jus got soaked at the Coleseum, in a massive storm which broke out just over their heads. The sky turned black and a huge bolt of lightening flashed right above them, and the thunder nearly deafened everyone who was standing nearby. On the last day we planned to go to Naples, but when we got to the station it was too expensive and would take too long, so we decided on a picnic in the park. Got all our stuff only to come out of the shop to see it was raining! :o( So we had a picnic on the floor of the room at the hotel, hence Mim got so pissed. We had limoncello (very alcoholic lemon drink, famous in Italy) and loads of wine. Oops! Twas great fun tho, and Jussy gave all the girls manicures and pedicures. Then it was off to Athens...
