Sharpie's big skive!
2nd Oct 2006We´ve arrived! Hi all, Just to let you know we´ve arrive safe and sound in Chile. The flight from New Zealand was 11 hours but actually it wasn´t too bad, spent most of the time playing tetris! We´re getting used to the time difference, we left New zealand at 6pm Friday and arrived in Santiago at 2pm Friday, very strange getting to Fridays. Felt REALLY bad yeasterday as we both slept in till 7......PM! Anyway, hardly anyone speaks English, which in fact is good as it´s forcing me to learn Spanish. I have to admit that we´re not doing to badly after just a couple of days....I´ve learnt the essentials like how to order a beer! We´re in the bus terminal at the moment and in about an hour we´ll start our 45 hour bus trip to Lima in Peru. Can´t wait! Update you soon, Leys
