11th Oct 2006Goodbye McleodGanj. So.. it`s finnaly time. We`re leaving Mcleodganj today, taking a 7PM Bus to delhi... a long and .. long 12hr journey. From there we`ll take a train to Mumbai on the 13th... Back home on the 14th. Now I understand what peolpe mean by a "Love-Hate" relationship with Mumbai city. I hate the cramped spaces, the noise, the pollution, the crowded streets, the traffic jams.. blah blah. but I can`t wait to get back. Odd huh? Hmm,.. But this place a beautiful too. Today.. I saw Sky Dragons! Really.. now wonder so many cultures have dragons!. All you need to do is watch storm clouds come into a valley at the speeds they do,.. and watch the wind whip the whisps into Dragons of thunder... So beautiful, so unreal. The colours.. the clouds dancing in the wind.. curling and spinning and crashing into each other with so much grace and violence. Well.. I`m glad I saw it. Oh, btw.. I`ve had an epiphany... a day before my birthday that too. I climbed Triund,... a 16km trek( 8 km each way.).. 2900 mtrs high... Climbed up alone.. down with new friends. I`m going to have to rewrite this blog properly when I get back. Yeh.. I will... I will. -sharan
