Griffo round the world
17th Oct 2006
First leg is almost all over!

Hello from Punta Arenas, southern patigonia (chile).
Will make this quick as i am pushed for time at the momnet. Everything thing here is about to shut and i need to make a quick phone call.
Anyway have uploaded some new photo´s, not all as promised but it takes so long and everything is closing that the rest will have to wait. Flying to Rio de Janeiro tomorrow, looking forward to getting a plane rather than a bus. Should be good, looking forward to some warm weather! Anyway, just got back from a 4 day hike around Torres Del Paine National Park, an amazing place. Dan describes it as one of the most beautiful places he has ever been. Unfortunalty wasn´t quite in the right frame of mind to enjoy it properly, but it was still amazing. Have some great photos of the Torres and of some glaciers that we were able to hike right up to, but as i said they will have to wait.
Anyway all i will update this site again properly shortly (sorry my english is so bad, am trying to think in english, but bits of spanish keep coming out and i´m getting confused, i know the grammer is bad). Well take care everyone, and keep in touch.
Griffo
