The adventures of Jonezy

Living like a king! Food is pretty cheap here in China, for example a supersized McDonalds Big Mac meal with extra chicken burger comes in at about 25 RMB. Around 1.90 in Bristish pounds. And western fast food is considered expensive. A decent tray of Chinese rice and chicken is about 13 RMB or a quid! Like I mentioned before there are McDonalds everywhere, it seems almost every street, metro station and mall has one or more. But it`s a busy place so there`s plenty of people to eat there. I`ve also been buying plenty of films on DVD, they manage to get brand new ones pretty much straight away, although it`s a mine field on the quality of each one. Doesn`t matter, the average price is about 50p so it`s worth the risk. You can buy them from the street traders or even official outlets in the malls. I guess the copyright people haven`t quite got to Guangzhou yet. So far about 50% of them have been good quality, the others have either been stuck in Russian, Chinese, or just bad quality. Obviously I won`t be taking any back to England and will leave them here, don`t want to break any laws ;) Club is still good, plenty of people through the doors every week. Weather`s got cold again after a humid warm spell. In fact it`s a very English spring here, cold wet and miserable. But it`s good as a huge thunder storm a few days ago really cleared the air. Now preparing for Thursday night here at the Yes Club, be on the decks in an hour so see ya....
