The adventures of Jonezy

Sakura Party This Friday was another themed night, a Japanese Sakura party which saw the dancers dressing in traditional kimono`s and the club decorated with blossom trees and other Japanese stuff. They also flew in a DJ Louis from France, a 14 year old accompanied by his Dad and his agent. They love novelty acts alongside us normal jocks in China, and the crowd certainly responded well to his selection of anthems from the past 5 years. There was a good crowd for this, every table in the club was sold in advance and the dance floor was rammed. I`ve just booked my return flight home three weeks early so I can see my Dad, he`s become ill recently so the club have managed to get my replacement DJ, Jay Stone to arrive here early. Due to land at Heathrow on the 23rd April. Like I`ve said before I can`t wait to get home and eat some good old fashioned English food. Although I`ve discovered a couple of great Muslim restaurants near to the club, absolutely love the food in them. Except for a couple of things that sound horrible in the menu including baked sheeps head and eyeballs. Now I`ve seen Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom, there`s no way I`m eating that stuff!! Their real shish kebabs and rice dishes rule. Been keeping tabs on the football back home, good to see the English teams dominating the Champions League including Man U whooping Roma, saw that one live in the early hours on ESPN. The Chinese commentators were going mental. And that my team Norwich are still rubbish, it`s nice to know some things will never change :) Things I`m missing include; books, magazines and newspapers. Baked beans, non humid weather, being able to communicate with out pointing and gesticulating and talking in single word sentances, not being really tall, decent quality DVDs, the cinema and breakfast cereal - they just don`t seem to eat it here?!!
