Gads & Hads Top Trip!
 Stuck in our apartment in Stamford, CT I had visions of a green, sunny place when I was told I`d be doing my graduate training course in the US.... Instead we are apartment bound because there`s been a storm nearby - its been tipping it down all day constantly. The river running through Stamford has flooded and is now running down the main road, where our apartment fronts onto. There are cars stranded in the road, which has now been blocked off by the police. The police are also telling any crazy pedestrians not to walk outside. Talking of which, Geeta saw a woman walk out in scuba diving outfit complete with mask and snorkel! I tried to leave this morning but only walked for a few seconds before turning back! Streams of fire engines have just passed by the back of the building, presumably to get to the front or maybe because the houses in that direction are near to the river. Anyway, pics and movie are attached! UPDATE: the apartment that Geeta is living in, which is opposite ours has just been flooded in the lobby and the fire alarms are all going off.
