Sinner! I`ve committed a crime! This morning at 10:47am I went to Subway for my breakfast. I`ve been doing so well eating whatever`s been given to me but the temptation was too much to resist. I`d slept through breakfast so I was allowed really. It woke me up anyway and I was ready for Barcelona! A group of us wandered through the square, bought a few postcards-I bought a new hat cos my hair`s ridiculously long. We seemed to split then as me and Alison headed for Hard Rock Cafe. We had to move single file through the tiny shop, I grabbed my badge then got my photos and we left. We were in the centre of town really and right at the top of La Rambla (?) so we started to stroll down. It was jam packed full of people and the weather was red hot so tempers were rising a little bit. The street performers all the way down were amazing. We got a few photos with them, including a weird green goblin thing that made very strange noises. Did a bit more shopping then carried on down the street. The next set of shops were all pet shops. There were loads of animals all over the place, one cage looked like there were 30 birds squashed together! Plus rabbits, hamsters, turtles, a few lizards and some weird ferret looking things. We walked the full length of the street and ended up at the Port. We got a few photos (including a very questionable one with a lion?) then headed round the entrance to the Christopher Columbus statue. It was only 3 euros to go right to the top and on a red hot day we knew the views would be amazing. There isn`t a lot of room at the top, it`s just a tiny space where you`ve gotta walk round in a circle but you could see everything-for miles! Got loads of photos then tried to get out. Must have taken 10 mins to get back to the lift door. After that we had to go back up La Rambla to try and find Gaudi`s museum. The queue was too long so we got some photos of the place then went and sat in the park to have a drink. I never want to move once I`ve stopped but ended up wobbling along to Sagrada Familia. We went last night and got a few pics so didn`t take many more. It doesn`t look as impressive when surrounded by cranes but was still a sight worth seeing. Our last stop of the day was Gaudi`s Park, or was supposed to be. We got off the wrong metro station and ended up being miles from the park so we decided to leave it and go home. Everyone was already back at camp so we just sat chatting when Dean suggested we play the cereal box game (you`ve gotta pick the box up with your mouth and not touch the floor-apart from your feet obv. It`s a lot harder than it sounds though) That was good fun and wasted about an hour. Back to the beach for more fun. No swimming was involved this time, just chat (in the dark cos we`d forgot a torch). Had an earlier night tonight and left everyone at 1am.
