Hi

Had an amazing day yesterday. I went firstly, to a girls school Wanyenge Girls School on the outskirts of the Jinja. It really is in the middle of no where, right on top of a hill and then on the next hill they have a boys only school. I have down loaded some photos of the views over Lake Victoria and Jinja. The Headmistress of the school was so happy, I just had to take a photo of her -- she really did not stop smiling the entire time we were there. On the blackboard they write bible passages for the students and they also write messages when it is birthdays etc (I have more photos on my  http://www.flickr.com/photos/23969197@N07/  website) The one on my blog  photo page says - "Mutesi dora (they write their names back to front) may the Lord blow more life into you. May you be jolly forever and that flowers keep blossoming in you life" which I thought was lovely.

From the school we went to Bujagli falls -- whow --it was amazing. it just really made you smile to see such breath taking beauty. We walked along the banks, just to take in the sheer enormity of it and then retired to a thatched pub over looking the falls -- whow, whow, whow -- could have stayed there all day and all night -- it was fantastic. Believe it or not we saw a group of kayakers actually going down these falls -- total madness -- they must have been very experienced as they made it look very easy. They also have a  very strange custom of paying a guy to go down the falls attached to only a plastic gerry can -- they call that entertainment!!!!--I call it lunacy --may people have died over the years doing that -- not my idea of entertainment at all!

In the evening, we had a farewell meal for all our guests so we went to the Two Friends and I had 'cheese' again -- absolute bliss!!!
