Argentina- Salta, Iguazu Falls, and Buenos Aires

Argentina- Salta, Iguazu Falls, and Buenos Aires   We finally hit our first stop in Argentina, Salta. Luckily it was great, it didn`t have anything in particular, it was just a nice city, quite a European feel to it, which was great after Bolivia. We were still knocking around with the couple we did the salt flats tour with, so we went sampled what Argentina had been hyped up for, its steak. It didn`t disappoint, it was the best steak I have ever tasted, you could cut a piece that was two and half inches thick with the side of your folk. Magic. More would have to wait though as we jumped on a 24 hour bus the following afternoon to Iguazu Falls, which is right on the border with Brazil, half belongs to Argentina, half to Brazil, from what we had heard, and defiantly what we saw, its much better from the Argentinian side. The falls were impressive and well worth the journey, got loads of photos, better than trying to describe them (badly). Next was another long bus down to Buenos Aires, where we would again meet up with the couple from our Salt Flats tour and the other American fella John who was also in BA. We went to watch Boca Juniors, standing section with the home crowd, it was a crazy atmosphere. Everyone was jammed in and the singing was constant and shouted with passion, nothing like anything back home. There were guys who just stood facing the crowd singing and jeering th crowd up, they didn`t even watch the match. Boca won 2 -1 BA was a cool city, flippin` massive with loads of nice restaurants and bars, all cheap as chips. Had Plenty more steak and after a few days got bus to Santiago in Chile, which was to be our final destination in South America.  NZ here we come!

Next: New Zealand- We have arrived
Previous: Bolivia- Mountain biking down officially the `Worlds most dangerous road` and touring the Salt Flats
