We are well on the way! I'm living on a building site but it is very satisfying!! Never thought i would be saying that. Walls are being knocked down and other walls are being put up, doorways blocked and others opened, dust everywhere and three hungry mouths to feed everyday. Don't tell the builders back home that the culture here is to give them three meal a day. You can't get away with making them a cuppa and serving a few biscuits. They expect the full monty here as part of their renumeration for the job. i am in full admiration for them though. Vasele his son and future son- in -law work very hard from 8am through till 6.30 most days. the work is hard and they don't have the machinery that we would have in the UK so it is very tiring for them. I recent;y received a wagon from the UK full of goodies and the drivers Dave and Mick stayed with me for a few days digging the most enormous hole to house the cess pit. They really enjoyed their experience and the Moldovan people and cuisine. Feel sure that they will be back sometime. Have a young man with me at the moment called Neil, he is helping me to put a video together so that all you lovely people can be part of the life here and get a real feel for it. He also spends a great deal of time going to the well for me and will wash my car tomorrow. i had an important meeting in the city today and he stepped in and made the guys lunch and did a really great job! I hope you enjoy the recent pictures, some of the building and my visitors. i had a real experience with my dog last week. someone stole her and tethered her outside the school kitchen. when i went to claim her back they wouldn't let me take her. i sat on the step giving her a pat and had a little cry cos i like her very much! i then went to the shop for a loaf of bread and the man asked me why I was upset (couldn't hide the tears) I told him about the dog. A few hours later, he turned up on my doorstep clutching a carrier bag and inside...............was my dog!! Hooray! I'm very happy now. More news soon
