The proposed Perth Waterfront project aims to create a strong identity in the global market to ensure highly skilled and young workers are attracted and retained because of Perth's vitality and unique lifestyle.

Perth is expected to be the fastest growing capital city over the next 50 years and the waterfront project will provide a new strategic precinct to help ease CBD growth pressures.

The project, which is still at early concept stage, will be a 'city-defining' initiative that will connect the city to the river and deliver strong economic and social benefits that will be shared across the community and by future generations.
