Angra dos Reis is a municipality located southwest of Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil, some 150 km from the city of Rio de Janeiro.   (Around 2.5 hours away) It is famous for it´s coastline, consisting of the Bay of Ilha Grande, a beautiful and pristine setting having 365 islands, of which the largest and most important is Ilha Grande.

Angra dos Reis was very beautiful, me, Zaira and Elaina (my sister) all had a wonderful time, once arriving there, we took a boat ride around the different beaches, sun bathed, swam in the ocean and had a nice lunch on the boat, with typical Brazilian music playing in the back ground.  It was a long day but time went very quickly.

My sister Elaina came to visit me here in Brazil, her first big international trip! Thank you Elaina for coming, i know its scary somtimes to travel alone but you did well! and i hope you had fun here! your always welcome here.

So i was a tour guide for 10 days, I loved it! and suprised myself of how well i know Rio now! I did all the touristy things for the second time and it was still exciting and great to see and do it all again.  Sugar Loaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer, Lagoa, leblon, Copacabana, Ipanema, nights out in Lapa, a small trip to Angra dos Reis, downtown!

My first time going to the Maracanã Stadium to see a football match!! Flamengo vs Sao Paulo.  It was wild, crazy Brazilians watching football haha  Flamengo is the most supported team here in Rio, so i had my shirt on and enjoyed it.

When we bought the tickets for the football match, I had my wallet stolen, well we think, either this or i just stupidly lost it, a rainy day in rio is not good for crossing roads and jumping puddles...so maybe it fell out my pocket...i lost alot of money, but crap happens, i guess you havent experienced the real rio until this happens to you eh?

Apart from that, Elaina and Zaira tried out some Handgliding, i didn´t try it...My fear of heights got in the way...but I will try one day, actually maybe sooner than I think! but it was enjoyable to watch Elaina crap herself haha and tearful to see my Love, Zaira to fly away from me... but i met them at the bottom when they landed on the beach!!

It is now around 8 weeks until I come back to Europe to travel the continant for one month, Im really looking forward to it! and then of course coming back to Brazil for 1 year.

I have learned alot since being here in brazil, who my real family and friends are, what I like and dont like, what I want and dont want in life, I love to travel but with someone I love sharing it with me, is an even better experience!
