Here's the write up! This is the follow up the photos which tell their own story! George is Mr Green fingers and loves helping out his Dad around the garden as you can see with him mowing the lawn. Harry is nowhere to be found when it comes to weeding!

WEST HAM UNITED ????????????????????????????????????????? Gary doesn't have much to say about the Hammers lately!

Let's start with the sport! Westpool Utd finished joint top of the over 35s league but unfortunately they did not rise to the occasion on Grand final day. After winning the play offs to get to the grand final they lost the match 3-1. DOH! A disappointing end to what has been a brilliant season for Westpool Utd. Gary has retired for now after admitting "it's nice to get up on a Saturday morning and be able to move". I am sure we have not seen the last of him on pitch though!

FUTSAL is high energy and fast paced. Harry's  competitions are challenging, exciting and all going well. George's team are leading their competition so much so that the manager has asked if they can be moved into a higher age group category for more competition. It is unlikely to happen at this stage in the competition though and they are averaging wins of more than 14 goals each week.

CRICKET has started with a bang for the boys! The first game was played over 2 weeks against TLC. To be fair they weren't the most experienced team but Pine Rivers U11s pumas won. Harry got 78 runs not out, took 2 catches, bowled 6 overs and took 1 wicket for 10 runs. George got 50 runs not out, bowled 5 overs and took 1 wicket for 15. I hope that makes sense! They are lovin the cricket at the moment and at every opportunity they are at the nets practising.

Shell & Annie came for a visit during the school holidays which was great because we could go out for days all together, well apart from Gary who was at work hence the reason why he isn't in any photos this time! One day we met up with Shell's next door neighbours who were having a holiday at Coolum, on the Sunshine Coast. Shell and I had a night out at the Tivoli to see The Script a band from Ireland that apparently are known in the U.K! Anyway Shell & I had another late night over the shops to which Annie howled and screamed "don't leave me mummy" as we headed out the door! Gary had to peel her of Shells leg just to get out the house! We phoned back 10 mins later and Harry had her under control and she was fine. He told her we had gone to get ice-cream! Harry looked after Annie the whole time she was here! He has asked for a baby sister!!!! OH how we laughed!

BACK TO SCHOOL last week after a 2 week break. George is currently having his school swimming lessons and has an oral presentation coming up. Harry has a number of projects on the go and they were both selected to play in the OZ TAG carnival which is on Tuesday 3rd November.

Harry had his 11th Birthday last week! Thanks to everyone for your cards, gifts, money and well wishes! He was a very lucky boy! His main present was a mongoose BMX bike which he had had a month or so earlier! His birthday treat was to take 3 friends to Dreamworld, a theme park on the Gold Coast! We visited SCREAMWORLD night open 6-10 on Friday 16 October only! They loved it! Gary & George went off doing there own rides and I followed the other 4 at a distance!  They were all good!

Upcoming birthdays are Michelle- 25th Oct, Emily Cannon - 27th Oct, Mum - 4th Nov, Ron - 7th Nov. Happy Birthday to you all! I think thats everything covered. Look forward to your replies and comments, Bye for now,
