28th Oct 2009A day in the life of a library Well as I am sitting in the library attempting to study some spanish I am easily distracted by staring spanish students. This may be because I look different or could be because im just too good looking. Just like Derek Zoolander. After weeks of sitting in the wrong area and wondering why people my age and adults do not come to the library the service lady kindly told me in english that there is an upstairs. And I didnt know this because..... Well I looked pretty silly sitting there all the time and not one person told me. Just because I would not understand doesn't matter. Not much has been happening in my world. Feels like a normal life just in another country. i get up and work and then work some more and weekends go so quickly I feel like i have not had one and have seen nothing. Time is flying by, and good and bad thing. It's exciting to be able to see friends in 4 months but sad too as I want to enjoy the moment. Its nice when the girls tell me they don't want me to leave as they love me. Times like those I feel at home and know why I chose to do this. This weekend, well the MJ "This Is It" comes out today so I am going to go see that with Mary. Super excited. And yes it is in english. Spanish sub-titles so maybe I will learn something. Thank god for google and its translator. Saves my life. And thanks to my new friend Lena I will be having lessons from her one night a week to get my ass into gear. I am missing home alot but not enough to think about coming home. Too much to experience over here. I have mixed feelings about the Spanish people. Some are lovely and some are just god damn rude. I guess we are not in Australia and the customs are very different. Well I should get back to studying and learn something. Besos. ¡Bon Día! xoxo
