Tom "The Pom" on Tour
 Canberra, Australian Capital Territories Well after a very eventful five days in Canberra I am safely home in Hunter`s Hill after such a great time in the nation`s capital. I stayed in Kaleen with Lachlan Carr who worked at Ampleforth last year. We had a great time and were joined by Pat Caruso for a couple of days which was great. Lots of talking and exchanging of stories went on, but it was really great fun. We went out every night I think, but last night was the best, but hardest to keep up with the pace of the others. The rugby was great fun and although not a great match, NSW won which was the main thing. Saw the players after the game too which was amusing. Dan Brennan, look at the photos! I quickly met up with Lavinia one of the gap students from Sydney, but didn`t see them again afterwards, so the group of us went into the night together, and it was great fun. Having spoken to Mr Liley and Big Billing on the phone also, it provided much amusement to all concerned, although we were all sober as a judges according to Pat, Big Billing begs to differ. Scubar tomorrow could be in jeopardy due to severe fatigue!
