Journey 2 da opposite TimeZone
21st May 2005
Yosemite National Park

Photos do no do it justice....the thing with yosemite is everythg is so huge...the trees tall...reallyreally tall, the rocks big, the waterfalls tall, so in a small 4 X 6 photo, u can never feel its greatness...its a really nice maintained park, with trails up the rocks, some ez & some reallt steep...
I rent a bike to go around yosemite valley...& u can leave the bike anywhere w/o locking..if it got stolen, u r not liable..hehehe...go on a steep 1.5km trail to see a waterfall...its only the bottom of the fall..its another 3km up the top, which i dint go...its really steep & tiring, but some parents bring along their kids, some on the back..on my way down i even see a dad with a twin stroller!
Went to the foot of Yosemite Falls...the snow on top of the mountains is beginning to melt at this time, & theyhad a flood on Monday...so the waterfalls are really `deras` now...when the wind blows, & it blows all the time, the mist can be felt far away...so at the foot of Yosemite falls, its really hard to take any pics..& with my experience with wet digicam, i was really careful with my camera...hehehe..
Will spend the week in San Fran...biking around & go on day tours to surrounding suburb...
