Tom "The Pom" on Tour

Getting ready to go! With only a week to go and one more Scubar expedition left, times in Sydney are quickly running out and this has come far too quickly for my liking. I write this in Central Sydney and am meant to be supervising a Year 10 excursion within the city, but after a late night last night that really isn`t a priority at the moment, and getting some water on board certainly is! Last night was one of the funniest nights that I have had in Australia, and we were joined by the New South Wales Waratahs rugby side which provided great amusement, as they were nearly as hammered as us! After a night of close fights and near brawls we called it a day before things got too exciting and then got a taxi back, which was hilarious. Late nights nearly always end in an amusing journey home and this was certainly no exception to that! This poor Chinese kid had no idea what was in store for him and none of us had any money so the only thing to do was to jump the cab. 4 of the 5 of us had got out, before the driver realised what we were up to and trapped the last guy in and drove off takin him hostage! When this happens at 3am and everyone is a little worse for wear, it is a little worrying to say the least. Anyway, 5 minutes he was back having found some money to pay the driver, and bed time was eagerly called before the excursion this morning. The only problem was that it appeared as though we had woken up a large part of the college with the noise that we had made. It was a very amusing night though with many tales not allowed on here, with Freddy on great form. The DJ played all of the requests that included Gina G and B*Witched which was hilarious. Big Matt Dunning dancing to that was something that will stay in my mind for so long! Cousin Clare and her mates were out which was amusing and good to see them. Next week I am an MC for one of the races which will be great, on what will be the last trip there. Nick and Paddy are back in Sydney this weekend for the biggest schoolboys rugby match in Sydney and the Lions opener in the evening, so that should be a laugh, before soon I`ll be heading home, and looking forward to seeing everyone, although it`ll be very hard to leave Australia, and Sydney especially. I hope that everyone is well, and be in touch soon.
