11th Apr 2004Camping @Kinghorn Point - Jervis Bay AUS Day 2: I woke up at 7:30am. Philpe, Jay, and Bugsy had been up an hour earlier as they were out for a surf. Todays breakfest menu was Bacon&Eggs. We used Jaffel Irons-(circular metal clamps) which you place directly in the fire. Pretty cool! It was now between 9 and 10am. While tossing the ball around, Clayton had the idea for all of us to go and jump in the HUGE Mud puddle. We all looked at him funny at first . But that`s what happened. We were completely covered in mud. You couldn`t see a white patch of skin on us. Though I didn`t exactly jump in the puddle myslef. I didn`t wan`t to ruin my nice red shorts. It wasn`t long before the mud fight started. That shit hurt. Having lots of fun and getting a little carried away Philpe went and grabbed the BodyBoard. I mean this puddle was Massive. 8-10 feet long about a foot and a half deep. It was jokes. -12:30 ... while eating lunch Clayton gave me a shout "eh, Massie...Dolphins". We were camping right off the beach. All I had to do was stand up and I had the perfect ocean view. There they were. A pack of 6-7 dolphins just chillin in the water. Swimming around smacking their tales. Whatta site! The 1st time I have ever seen Dolphins in my life. AWESOME!!!! -2pm Lunch was finished and our stomachs had settled. Just finished of a few more VB`s and it was time for a surf. The O.P. Pro(Ocean Pacific Pro) Just a little surf competition among the 6 of us. Everyone drew numbers to see what the order would be. I picked 1st and picked the last number. This was gonna be my 1st time surfing in my life, so I was excitied. Getting to see everyone have there go, didn`t really help me that much. I can`t surf worth shit. I couldn`t get up. It`s hard trying to get a feel for the waves. I`ll learn in due time, so it`s all good. I did get another visit from my dolphin friends. it was my 2nd time paddeling out. There they were. 20-25 yrds in front of me. So sick!!! The same pack of dolphins basically cruising up and down the shore line all day. I just sat up up my board and watched them. Fucking Amazing!
