Good Morning Vietnam!
This time last year we'd not long been home from our trip around India and Nepal and were busy dreaming up our next adventure. Trans Siberian Railway, Bolivia and Peru, South Africa and Botswana were all ideas that got thrown about, all of which sounded great, but a lot could change in the next 12 months we thought... and a lot has. I got a "proper job" and we both moved into our own place, meaning time off and more importantly, money wasn't as easy to come by anymore. Never the less we managed to have a weekend in Stockholm, a week skiing in Val D'Isere and a trip to Glastonbury so things weren't looking so bad. In June the next trip was booked, its been a long, long wait but finally the 29th October arrived and we're off. This time to Vietnam for three weeks exploring a country with one of the most violent pasts in history, some of the best food in Asia and (reportedly) the cheapest draught lager in the world, Bia Hoi!!!
