Gads & Hads Top Trip!
Hi everyone, Follow Mark, Julia and Rich (plus Dave when he joins us in New Zealand), around half the world! This site should let you all know what we're up to, with much planned from a 33 mile Klondike Gold Rush hike through bear country in Alaska, to the heat of the Grand Canyon in mid-August, the Lost City in Peru, the white sands of Fiji, crazy adventure activities in New Zealand (bungee jumping coming up!), following the Ocean Road up the East Coast of Oz, sampling some Asian culture in Singapore & Hong Kong (cheap electronics, put your orders in now), all rounded off by visits to some traditional Japanese families where raw fish could be an issue! Jealous? We hope so! Enjoy the photos and stay in touch, both via the messageboard and e-mail! xxx

Australia: Sydney to Byron Bay
My hopes were raised on arrival at Christchurch Airport (at 5.30am!) when I was asked if I would be prepared to take a different flight to Sydney as my plane was overbooked, for a reward of NZ$360! Unfortunately t...

South Island, NZ continued
We left the glaciers for the activity centres of NZ, Wanaka and Queenstown. The weather at Wanaka was not good on arrival so skiing was not possible. However on the last day of the season (7th Oct) we went to Car...
