Four months in East Africa
So, I have always dreamed about going to Africa, and now the moment has finally come! The third of September I'm leaving Uppsala and sweden to spend the whole fall travelling around in East Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and hopefully Rwanda) with my good friend/guide/translator Maria Knutsson, for whom it is the second trip to this part of the world. We will be spending these months studying swahili and travelling around, and pretty much take one day at a time and see what comes up..I've never been much of a planner=) i'm sure it's going to be an amazing journey, and I'm not to depressed about missing out on fall in sweden and prolonging my time as a student. However, I will miss friends and family a lot, so please keep in touch! And if my smoke-signals fail to get through to you you can always get some updates and write me a line or two here! Hakuna matata my friends, keep me posted!

what would we do without the bus-entertainment?!
It's amazing how low people allow their mental capacity sink, watching some of the TV-shows being showed on the bus just made me sick. Fat, bulldog-like businessmen hitting their gorgeous wives who come crawling b...

YEEES!! Banaanaliivsiiiii!
The heading is just an example of one of the many desperate catch-lines that the vendors throw out hoping to inspire some tourists to come have a look at their pieces of art - banana-leave paintings, batiques, tin...
