Greedy For Life...
 Travelling brings me happiness, freedom!! ......I'm discovering more about myself..about the beauties of life!! There is sooooo much to see to be sitting at home idle!!! I want to EXPLORE...I want to DISCOVER !!! I wanna SEIZE THE DAY!!!!!!!!!! ('Gather ye rosebuds gather ye may') I don't wanna wait until it is too late to make from my life even one iota of what I am capable of!!!!!!! So...Stuttgart,my parents house, is my new home for a little while!! It was with a mixture of sadness and excitement that I left Athens and headed to the super organised world of Germany!!! (I wanted to get rid of all that was not life) As I reflect on this last year..I see that 2007 was for me a hard but also awesome year! I feel more experienced at many things. (Emotionally worse at some other..).I had good and mundane moments..But I enjoyed all the simple pleasures and the necessary evils that life offered me!!I feel very lucky+blessed that I shared most of these moments with my 2 best friends, my Mum and my Dad!! Thank you both for the giggles and for keeping me going when things got tough.I love u!! You are the greatest gift + I'm deeply grateful for your support in each of my 'journeys'. Gordana..(my German teacher)..you are my Angel.I'm blessed that I met you. Some of the things I loved most about 2007 are : -simplifying my life by getting rid of 'stuff' -watching old Greek movies again and again.. -learning the German language -hanging out with new wonderful friends -laughing my ass off with my friend Miguel -watching films with my parents - a bicycle adventure with Apo -deepening my intimacy with my parents -going for walks with my mum -growing......thereby becoming a way better person. -eating mums food +delicious chocolates(+afterwards running my ass off to lose kilos) So many more things..but these came to me just now.. I want to keep going..keep discovering a new part of the world+me. 2008 has been very good so far . I'm enjoying what life has to offer!!New resources, new friends+support systems, new dreams..new goals... And I'm looking forward to all new challenges that I'll face this year.!!!.Some will be tough..and some will be easy..but at the end of each day..if I'm happy with what I have accomplished.....THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!! I really want to try things that I've never tried before.(There are also things that scare me that I know I'm going to do them). Generally...I will be diving in, in this new year, to be a better person in every way possible. So my loved ones...may u be surrounded by support (even internally, if u're on ur own), be filled with love+gentleness, and have some juicy time to yourself to reflect on how GREAT and WILD it is to be alive. |
